The new collaboration theme is "Self Portrait"! Can you draw a portrait of yourself on a canvas? For some this will be a deviation from their normal style while others will feel right at home practicing an art form that was the primary means of identifying someone up until the invention of the camera. ArtGrounds "Video Game Characters" Art Collaboration FINISHED!

Wow! The Video Game Characters collaboration filled up rather quickly. In the first week alone almost the entire canvas was filled up with characters from across many different genres of video games. Because of this, we decided to make the collaborations bi-weekly instead of monthly. After two weeks, everyone can decide on what the next collaboration will be.

Which brings up the next question... What should the theme of the next collaboration be? Please post your ideas and vote here.

ArtGrounds- Collaboration/Collage: Video Game Characters!

After the success of our last big collaboration, we decided to continue the fun! After tallying all of your votes, the theme for February will be, "Video Game Characters". We would like to thank everyone who voted, and we can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Once finished the collaboration will be featured on ArtGround's homepage. To participate, simply log into "Event - VG Characters" (E1) and start drawing.

 

ArtGrounds "Villain" Art Collaboration FINISHED!

We would like to extend a big, “Congratulations!” to everyone who participated in the ArtGrounds "Villain" Art Collaboration done in Sketcher! It turned out good and had quite a few participants. In fact, the canvas was almost completely full with real and imaginary villains alike!

Participants include: Algo, BadCompany, Booky, Bugger, Chire, Gu, IndigoGrim, Juggernaut, MrPanda, Nala_91, Nothing, Nothnx, Nyrrti, Pampuka, PirateJedi, Sweetyluli, Tassoline, and Tim. Special mention: Nothing, for coming up with the idea for the event; and MrPanda for the theme.

Everyone who participated will receive a special badge attached to his or her profile.

Come join our collab/collage and draw your favourite villain (yea, thats right, we spelled it the British way)! Once finished the collaboration will be featured on ArtGround's homepage. To participate, simply log into "G3-Event Room" and start drawing.

Guidelines:

*Must be a villain
*Please do NOT erase your art once you are finished. This is supposed to end up looking like a collage.

AG Focus Group

We are forming an AG focus group so we can get your thoughts on ArtGrounds. We want to know what you like, dislike, what you would like to see improved, what modifications you think we should make, etc.
